I am actually not a hardline social conservative and my standards can be reassuringly low taking into account the sexual mores of the late 20th century and the early 21st century. That is why I expect Westerners to choose Secular Koranism instead of hardline sharia.
Why did Phillip Schofield have to come out that he was gay in 2020 causing his wife to separate from him? If he was gay, why couldn't he be discreetly gay without inviting everyone and his dog to dig up his sexual history? It was a hubristic act of self-destruction.
Under Secular Koranism, Schofield would not have come out as gay in 2020 after which his wife separated from him. Secular Koranism protects people from themselves, people from each other, and people from their corrupt and incompetent ruling classes.
Just to be clear, if the UK adopted Secular Koranism with British Characteristics tomorrow, there will be no retrospective punishment for Phillip Schofield or others. There will also be a period of grace of one year before unmarried parents are lashed 100 times.
