The obsolescence of liberalism

President Putin declared liberalism "obsolete" in 2019. While Western media reported this, they did not make much of it, but this is the secular political ideology of the West and its operating orthodoxy.  

Even now, no debate is being had about it by either the Western political establishment or the anti-establishment political parties.  

Presumably, the Western political establishment does not want to acknowledge or discuss this while the anti-establishment political parties have long concluded that this was the case.
