The Koran acknowledges Jesus as one of God's prophets and the Virgin Birth. It would appear that Christianity is a religion created to provoke antisemitism as well as to mock Jews and blaspheme the Abrahamic God. After all, Christians do worship a Jew convicted of blasphemy and have done so for 2000 years. Not only do they worship Jesus idolatrously, they also claim that he is the co-equal of the supreme and eternal Abrahamic God who created the Universe. This is the essence of the Doctrine of the Trinity. Those who denied Christ's divinity would be burned at the stake eg Michael Servetus, Edward Wightman, Thomas Aikenhead etc.
The Ten Commandments and the Seven Noahide laws of Judaism already forbid idolatry and blasphemy.
The Koran in 4:157-8 states that Jesus did not die on the cross and it only appeared that he did so. The Koran in 18:4 commands Muslims to admonish those who claim that God has begotten a son. Food for thought, is it not, as we approach the Day of Atonement?
