The only moral and rational choice

We have a legal obligation to obey the law and we can make political decisions about what laws we support and oppose. The least a moral system ought to do is to make the rules clear. Liberalism and Christianity have clearly failed. Even if you asked liberal intellectuals and Christian leaders to compile a book of rules of liberalism/Christianity, they would not be able to agree.  However, it is the easiest thing in the world to ask Jews and Muslims to agree that the Torah and Koran is their holy book. As agnostic gentiles having to choose a theocracy because we cannot agree on a secular political ideology, it would be rational to choose the least restrictive that would do the job of giving us a stable society with low taxes and low crime in this life. As far as I am concerned, there is only one rational and moral choice out of the two revealed scripture from which we can derive our rules.
