Israel should be a theocracy

The absolute basic assumption of Torah Judaism is that the Jewish people received the Torah and that Torah is the foundation and the source from which all of Jewish civilisation, culture, life and meaning flow, and, according to that culture, civilisation based on their Torah, the Jewish people are supposed to be a sovereign nation in their land living according to the precepts, concepts and commandments of the Torah, and by so doing they will be a light to the nations. That is the absolute bedrock of Torah Judaism.
