This is the Oberammergau Passion Play that E Michael Jones complains that the Jews have "wrecked". Clearly, he still considers Jews as still being collectively guilty of the crucifixion of Christ. 
Stückl knows all about the dangers of staging the Passion story. Since taking over he has had to confront a much darker aspect of the play’s history than provincial in-fighting. In 1930, and again in 1934, the play’s 300th anniversary, Hitler came to Oberammergau to see the play. He approved of what he found, declaring: ‘It is vital that the Passion Play be continued at Oberammergau; for never has the menace of Jewry been so convincingly portrayed as in this presentation of what happened in the times of the Romans.’

As James Shapiro details in Oberammergau: The Troubling Story of the World’s Most Famous Passion Play, throughout their history Passion plays have been linked to acts of anti-Semitic violence. In the 14th and 15th centuries, to prevent fighting between Christians and Jews, Passion plays were banned in Frankfurt and Freiburg, and as Leon Poliakov notes in his History of Anti-Semitism: ‘In 1539, the show was stopped in Rome, for it had been regularly followed by the sacking of the ghetto.’

With this history and the stark fact of the Holocaust, Passion plays have a serious problem to confront, and Oberammergau has been slow to wake up to its responsibilities. Since the Sixties, the village has been lobbied by critics from Jewish organisations such as the Anti-Defamation League and the American Jewish Committee to purge the production of anti-Semitism. In 1970, these organisations called for an international boycott.

Oberammergau has also lagged behind the decrees of its own Roman Catholic Church, which, in 1965, in the Second Vatican Council, stated that the Jews should no longer be held collectively guilty for the crucifixion of Jesus.

Is Rabbi David Bar-Hayim advocating Secular Koranism?

There is only one solution. The only solution for the Western world in order to successfully resist Islam, to be able to defend itself and overcome the threat of Islam, the only solution is for the Western world is to become the sons of Abraham. I remember hearing not long ago from a friend, a Jewish person, a rabbi in fact, who when he was a very young man, a teenager, he actually was a counsellor in a summer camp in the United States, a non-Jewish summer camp, and he mentioned that one of the songs, and in those days, we're talking about the 1970s, one of the songs that was current in such summer camps in the United States at that time for non-Jewish children was a song, and some of the words he recited to me - "We are all the sons of the children of Abraham". This was a sentiment that meant something to most people of that time in the United States. It is very dubious today whether this is the case. The only solution for the Western world, it's only hope is to return to that song, to sing that song very loud and very clear: "We are all the children of the sons of Abraham" - both the biological children of Abraham, the Jewish people, and the wider world which became aware of Abraham's message, Abraham's work in the world to spread the belief in the one God and the way of life that therefore follows from such a belief and such an understanding, and that it is possible and in fact imperative that all human beings connect to this one God. These basic understandings and concepts were once the underpinning of Western civilisation, and they must once again become the essential foundation and basis of all that is done, all that is written, all that is thought in the West. 

Once upon a time, the Western world believed in a higher purpose, believed in a Creator and in a connection to that Creator and believed in the idea that human beings could know the will of the Creator and could live a way of life and produce a culture and a civilisation and a way of life that were worthy of such a connection and such a Creator. However, the Western world at some point lost this faith and lost this connection, lost this basic set of ideas, and from that moment on, it became confused, directionless, apathetic, in fact, worse than that, self-hating and certainly unsure of itself, lacking in self-confidence and therefore unable to put up any kind of fight vis-a-vis an enemy who is absolutely sure of himself, of the truth of his cause and of the fact that he should rule over everybody else, and therefore the Western world has only one path open to it in order to save itself from the clutches of barbarism, cruelty and backwardness, and that is to return to the essential faith of Abraham.

The late Rabbi Menachem Mendel Schneerson, the last leader of Chabad-Lubavitch Hasidism. Schneerson wrote:

We must do everything possible to ensure that the seven Noahide laws are observed. If this can be accomplished through force or through other kinder and more peaceful means through explaining to non-Jews that they should accept God’s wishes [we should do so]…Anyone who is able to influence a non-Jew in any way to keep the seven commandments is obligated to do so, since that is what God commanded Moses our teacher

Since the late Rabbi Schneerson is considered to be the Mashiach himself, this should make his messianic exhortation for Jews to impose the Noahide laws on gentiles irresistible, because it is both divine, logical and eternal.

This is because Christianity is obviously idolatrous and began to die the moment the Americans quarantined the church from the state when the US constitution since it came into force in 1789 and it became legal in Britain to deny the Trinity in 1813.

Since the West is now overwhelmingly and militantly atheist, it would be hard to use Christianity as the religion of the West since it not only requires us to believe God exists, but that Christ himself is His divine son and co-equal in power and eternity. No educated or rational person now would countenance this for a moment. Perhaps all those centuries of insisting people believe in this or lie that they did has attracted God's wrath and made Him curse Christians for the Inquisition they imposed on Jews and Muslims. The Koran tells Muslims to admonish Christians in the following terms:

Rabbi Bar-Hayim does not seem particularly fond of Muslims, but perhaps he will relish the prospect of a Jewish judiciary and legal profession interpreting and applying the law of the Koran in Israel guided by the principles of Secular Koranism. This would of course make Israel a theocracy and Israel of all nations in the world should be a theocracy. However, since a Torah theocracy would lead to the horrible situation of Jews stoning each other for breaking the Sabbath or their sons being stoned for being drunk and disobedient and other assorted capital crimes, Secular Koranism is clearly the obvious choice for the Holy Land. Once Israel adopts it, Jews will be regarded as light of the nations and the rest of the world would follow suit in adopting Secular Koranism, turning our Global Village into something rather more godly than Global Sodom and Gomorrah.

In this way would the fetid tide of Global Gay Marriage be seen off by the cleansing waves of Global Secular Koranism, with Israel leading the way ...

My favourite sin of Lashon Hara

I am thinking of turning it into a parlour game or a drama documentary. The object of the game would be to see how long a person can go without committing Lashon Hara. I was once told I should be Head of BBC Light Entertainment.

Tazria and Metsora, are about a condition called tsara’at, sometimes translated as leprosy. The commentators were puzzled as to what this condition is and why it should be given such prominence in the torah. They concluded that it was precisely because it was a punishment for lashon hara, derogatory speech.

Evidence for this is the story of Miriam (Numbers 12: 1) who spoke slightingly about her brother Moses “because of the Ethiopian wife he had taken.” God himself felt bound to defend Moses’ honour and as a punishment, turned Miriam leprous. Moses prayed for God to heal her. God mitigated the punishment to seven days, but did not annul it entirely.

Clearly this was no minor matter, because Moses singles it out among the teachings he gives the next generation: “Remember what the Lord your God did to Miriam along the way after you came out of Egypt” (Deut. 24: 9, and see Ibn Ezra ad loc.).

Oddly enough Moses himself, according to the sages, had been briefly guilty of the same offence. At the burning bush when God challenged him to lead the people Moses replied, “They will not believe in me” (Ex. 4: 1). God then gave Moses three signs: water that turned to blood, a staff that became a snake, and his hand briefly turning leprous. We find reference later in the narrative to water turning to blood and a staff turning into a serpent, but none to a hand that turns leprous.

The sages, ever alert to the nuances of the biblical text, said that the hand that turned leprous was not a sign but a punishment. Moses was being reprimanded for “casting doubts against the innocent” by saying that the Israelites would not believe in him. “They are believers the children of believers,” said God according to the Talmud, “but in the end you will not believe.”[3]

How dangerous lashon hara can be is illustrated by the story of Joseph and his brothers. The Torah says that he “brought an evil report” to his father about some of his brothers (Gen. 37: 2). This was not the only provocation that led his brothers to plot to kill him and eventually sell him as a slave. There were several other factors. But his derogatory gossip did not endear him to his siblings.

No less disastrous was the “evil report” (dibah: the Torah uses the same word as it does in the case of Joseph) brought back by the spies about the land of Canaan and its inhabitants (Num. 13: 32). Even after Moses’ prayers to God for forgiveness, the report delayed entry in the land by almost forty years and condemned a whole generation to die in the wilderness.

Why is the Torah so severe about lashon hara, branding it as one of the worst of sins? Partly this has deep roots in the Jewish understanding of God and the human condition. Judaism is less a religion of holy people and holy places than it is a religion of holy words.

I wonder if it would amuse Orthodox and Ultra Orthodox rabbis to cite and describe the number and nature of daily Lashon Hara committed in this piece by the obviously Reform Stephen Games about the Ultra Orthodox rabbis who make up 75% of the Dayanim at the London Beth Din.

Email explaining my reasons for wishing to convert to Orthodox Judaism

Dear Rabbis Abrahams, Binstock, Gelley and Simons

You may find my application for conversion a little unusual.

I am applying directly to each of you because I fear that any attempt I make to get a Letter of Recommendation from my local Orthodox rabbi will be unsuccessful.

While I have met Rabbi Sacks twice and have a Facebook friend who is a rabbi, I suspect no Letter of Recommendation from them will be forthcoming either.

I believe the reasons are because I am a nationalist and a political activist. While I have advocated nothing that would offend against the Noahide laws, the general attitude towards me seems to be that of deep wariness.  This may be to do with a series of gun and flag photographs found online that I imagine would offend Jewry but which I hasten to assure you were intended to identify myself with nationalism so that I can make the following points:

1)  If Judaism is divine ethno-nationalism, then Islam must be divine civic nationalism.

2)  Christianity is idolatrous and offends against the third Noahide law, while Islam satisfies all seven.

3)  Jews have a religious duty to remind the gentile when his laws fall dangerously below the minimum moral standards of the Noahide laws because it is part of their tikkun olam.  Secular Koranism more than satisfies these standards. thevoiceofreason-ann.blogspot.co.uk/2014/05/secular-koranism.html

4)  Because of rising antisemitism, Jews are understandably fearful of saying anything to provoke the gentile.  However, once I become an Orthodox Jewess, I will be able to throw myself in front of the bullets shot by outraged gentiles intended for Jewry on your behalves as one of you in an act of Kiddush Hashem.

5)  While acutely aware of the obvious idolatry of Christianity for so many centuries, I do see that you could not for obvious reasons quite bring yourselves to point this out to Christians when they took their religion seriously in fear that it would provoke their customary violence and intimidation. In any case, you cannot now bring yourselves to point this out the Post-Christian in the current atmosphere of rising antisemitism now that he no longer believes in anything other than sex and drugs and rock and roll as well as gay marriage and transgenderism.

6)  It has been said that Islam is "Judaism Lite". If this is so, then Secular Koranism is intended to be "Islam Lite" and, with this in mind, I conceived of Secular Koranism.  Secular Koranism is not a belief system, but a legal system that guarantees freedom of belief with https://quran.com/2/256, would make it unconstitutional to tax a citizen more than a flat rate income tax of 20% https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Khums, shame immoral women who produce illegitimate offspring and then badly parent the next generation of unemployable criminals with https://quran.com/24/2 and is intended to restore patriarchy which will not be too difficult once good moral men and women who want to properly parent their legitimate offspring co-operate with each other with a view to drawing a line very firmly under so many decades of degenerate culture.

It is my considered view as a rational and moral woman that feminism that produces the sexual immorality that is undermining Western civilisation, and I would like this matter highlighted and publicised in my campaign to promote the Noahide laws among gentiles with the assistance and support of what I hope will become my Kehillah Kedoshah.

To this end, I thought the quickest way would be to write to you individually in the hope that you will believe me to be a suitable candidate for conversion after meeting me and then write each other Letters of Recommendation on my behalf.

We’ve been around twice as long as Christianity, three times as long as Islam. I remember when I was Chief Rabbi, I used to, part of the British Commonwealth used to be Hong Kong until we had to give it back to the Chinese. When I went there under Chinese rule I had a meeting with the Beijing appointee of Hong Kong, Mr. Tung Chee-hwa, the first governor, Chinese governor of Hong Kong, a lovely man who loved and admired Judaism. He said, “Rabbi Sacks, we Chinese knew Jews have been around for a long time. We’ve been around 5,000 years. You’ve been around 6,000 years. What I always wanted to know is what did you do for the first thousand years before you had kosher Chinese takeaways?” I said, “Mr. Tung for the first thousand years we just complained about the food.”


You can recognise the status of an aristocrat without assuming that everything he does is right, and hold him to higher standards too.

Jews represent the Hare, the gentile the Tortoise.

It is no surprise then that Christianity is now kaput after the Americans quarantined that defective religion from their state and when the British lifted the prohibition against denying the Trinity in 1813. Clearly, in an age of universal education, liberal permissiveness and the pill after the Sex Revolution, it was inevitable that the post-Christian would have thrown out the morality of Christianity with the absurd bathwater of the Trinity.

Now that fornication is encouraged with sex education from the age of 4 and bastardy normalised, degeneracy is now widespread. If religion was once the opium of the masses, extramarital sex is now their new behavioural addiction.

Rabbi Sacks expressed concern about how never married single mothers casually conceived and casually gave birth to illegitimate offspring they negligently parented and just as carelessly abandoned to the care system to be sexually abused. This was completely ignored by the political classes.

Keith Joseph also pointed out how the British were destroying their "human stock" by tolerating bastardy and never married single mothers but for his trouble had his place as Prime Minister-in waiting taken over by Margaret Thatcher, which established the our matriarchy.

The matriarchy which established itself in 1974 is spreading her wings and legs ever wider.

If this is not enough and Rabbi Sacks still remains silent about our rotten culture and stinking matriarchy as well as refusing to come to the support of Rabbi Aaron Bassous against Ofsted so that he and his kehillah kedoshah do not have to end up seeking sanctuary from gay marriage in Iran, then it means I will have to convert to Orthodox Judaism to save the Jews from their collective sin of cowardice and chillul Hashem.

It really is disgraceful that things have come to this, but there we are.

Cost
The cost of the Beth Din’s time in dealing with conversions is heavily subsidised by the United Synagogue. Conversion candidates are asked to pay a nominal administration fee of £50 when the form for admission to the Jewish faith is completed by them (see paragraph 4 of “Conversion Process”) and a further £120 at a later stage. 

If Rabbi Sacks really doesn't want to speak up because he wants to continue receiving prizes from the neocons he is always hobnobbing with, then perhaps he will write me a Letter of Recommendation for the Beth Din so I can speak out against the immoral women that now rule the Western world as an Orthodox Jewess. I realise that men with anything to lose are afraid of antagonising these malicious immoral women in case they are accused of a historic sexual offence and then be found guilty in the kangaroo court of public opinion before it ever gets to trial. I intend to be the Lady Protectress of these poor white frightened men who have so lost their male solidarity that they cannot get it together to co-operate with each other to shoo the feminazis out of public life like hens back into their coops.

Some of the ultra-nationalist parties coming to the fore in Europe, such as the Austrian Freedom Party, Golden Dawn in Greece or Jobbik in Hungary, are indeed openly antisemitic or have Nazi pasts. And many Muslims are not only opposed to Islamist extremism but are its most numerous victims.
But those who ignore or deny Muslim antisemitism or other aggression effectively connive at its continuation. And that includes many Jews who denounce such concerns as “Islamophobic.”

Such Jews are themselves stoking the fires of antisemitism. People who are angry and resentful at mass immigration destroying their national identity bitterly resent being told by Diaspora Jews who have their own country in Israel that it’s racist to oppose multiculturalism. 

It’s not only dangerous for Jews to oppose Europeans having their own national and cultural identity. It’s morally wrong. We Jews have ours. Why can’t they have theirs?

Admittedly, this is not quite happening, but it soon will if nothing is done against militant atheism and feminism continues in its hegemony and insane extremism. Already men are lower than the fornicating slut and unmarried single mother because these immoral women can falsely and maliciously accuse senior men with anything to lose of sexual misconduct and get away with it under the cloak of anonymity. The police and courts are obliged to take them seriously and then convict probably innocent men on the balance of probabilities. It used to be the case that it was for the Prosecution to prove the guilt of the accused, but because the burden of proof has been reversed by that campaigning feminazi Direrectrix of Public Prosecutions Alison Saunders, the accused is now obliged to prove his innocence in a kangaroo court.

The gentile's courts no longer dispense justice infringing the first Noahide law of establishing justice.

A Beautiful Talmudic Mind

After months of negotiation with the authorities, a Talmudist from Odessa was finally granted permission to visit Moscow.

He boarded the train and found an empty seat. At the next stop, a young man got on and sat next to him. But why is he going to the Steinbergs in Samvet? The Steinbergs have only daughters, two of them, so maybe he's their son-in-law. But if he is, then which daughter did he marry? They say that Sarah Steinberg married a nice lawyer from Budapest, and Esther married a businessman from Zhitomer, so it must be Sarah's husband. Which means that his name is Alexander Cohen, if I'm not mistaken.

But if he came from Budapest, with all the anti-Semitism they have there, he must have changed his name.

What's the Hungarian equivalent of Cohen? It is Kovacs. But since they allowed him to change his name, he must have special status to change it. What could it be? Must be a doctorate from the University. Nothing less would do.

At this point, therefore, the Talmudic scholar turns to the young man and says, "Excuse me. Do you mind if I open the window, Dr. Kovacs?"

"Not at all," answered the startled co-passenger. "But how is it that you know my name?"

Lecture by Rabbi Aharon Bassous in response to a lecture by Rabbi Joseph Dweck on sexual liberation being "a fantastic development" - first half



Rabbi Bassous tells us of the tears he shed before speaking out against Rabbi Dwek and asks forgiveness if he becomes too emotional.


The Torah is never out of date. Items in a shop have a sell-by date. The Torah has no sell-by date. If we add one letter to the Torah, if we subtract one letter from the Torah we are destroying the world. The Torah is perfect. It doesn't need us to add to it, and it doesn't need us to subtract from it.


He quotes Rabbi Sacks:


It can hardly be said that there are few aspects of Judaism more out of step with today's radically individualist culture than his view on this subject. To be a Jew has always involved being willing to challenge the idols of the age - whatever idols of whatever age. One of the idols of our time is the idea of the sovereign self: navigating the world with no binding commitment beyond personal inclination and private desire. Today's secular culture resists the idea that there may be boundaries to this life that we may legitimate pursue. It finds it difficult to understand that the logic of "I ought" is quite different to that of "I feel" or "I want". At such time Judaism's ethics become counter-cultural. To live by the call of the Torah is no easy undertaking. At times it is nothing short of heroic.



We don't have to look around us, to the nations of the world, to learn from them how to behave. When the nations of the world were primitive peoples, the Jewish nation had already received the Torah. The values of the nations of the world, they changed according to fashion, according to the whims of human ideas.



We are the light to the nations, we have to lead the way and lead by example how a Jewish family bring up our children. I remember very clearly a policeman asking the rabbi why there were so few delinquents from our community. I asked him if the police were understaffed. He said the police were always understaffed. I told him the criminals watched how well the police were staffed before planning their crimes, but with us our police is always watching us. 


 The Torah viewpoint Rabbi Bassous read out that he totally agreed with:


I think we should declare in very plain and explicit terms indicating that our society has violated some of the norms of the divine law and the natural law and that as a consequence we pay a price - an exceedingly heavy price. I need hardly spell out to an informed audience, certainly one that is likely to know the rudiments of Jewish teachings, that any form of sexual gratification outside marriage cannot be condoned by Jewish law whether this is premarital, extramarital or whether it is altogether unnatural in the form of [Hebrew]. We utterly disapprove of this as an abomination. It is treated by Biblical law as a moral aberration that we cannot come to terms with. 


The late Chief Rabbi Lord Immanuel Jakobovits (1921-1999) said this, Rabbi Bassous reveals.

Rabbi Bassous calls all Jews with the flame of the Torah still burning in their hearts to take a stand against "fundamental British values" which have fallen dangerously below the minimum standards of the Noahide laws

According to Rabbi Bassous, Hanukkah is more important than Purim. Haman only wanted to destroy the physical bodies of Jews, but Antiochus wanted to destroy their religion.

Rabbi Bassous says:

 Leadership and kingship

When a person is all alone and can withstand the pressure to stand firm in his belief in Hashem and cannot be moved, then Hashem says he is fit to be a king, because he will not be persuaded by the people, rather he will lead the people. A person who is wishy-washy can't be a king. A king has to be a leader. He has to be a ruler. He mustn't be led, he has to lead. If a person is persuaded, he hasn't got firm conviction and he can't be a ruler. Yosef was alone: no father, no brother, no mother, no sister: by himself, yet he remained strong. He comes out of twelve years of prison and was brought in front of the king, the rule of the vast Egyptian empire. A little bit of humility, a bit of being worried what he says and how he says it, but no, he says it straight away: "There is a God and God will tell you ... "

Ofsted and Fundamental British Values

Ofsted - do you know what that means? It's education in England, this whole system of education now in England, which his run by what's called Ofsted and they have various requirements of all the schools in England that they have to fulfil those requirements in order to be authorised to act as a school. It doesn't matter whether you are getting money from the government, or not getting money from the government: these are basic requirements that every school has to fulfil. So, Ofsted, because there is lots of extremism from the Muslim community, so the British are very worried so they want to try and push what they call fundamental British values in the community and the schools and the children should be taught those British values. Do you know what these British values include, which the schools have to all promote? Tolerance of gender reassignment, civil partnerships, sexual orientation. It means to promote and to explain to the children to behave in a free way, in a permissive way, and to respect people who do such a thing, and understand that this is also acceptable. The Jewish schools don't want to teach this. They have a problem because the faith schools don't want to teach this. Slowly, slowly they are making problems for the schools. Who is responsible for this?

This was a problem that never was. Faith schools were left alone. You take money from the government - there are certain criteria - but why do they care what you are teaching? You teach them how to be decent human beings, not teach them to do anything wrong, not teaching them to steal, not teaching them to kill. We're not teaching them to promote what they call fundamental British values of tolerance ...! Where does it come from? We are responsible ourselves!

The Chief Rabbi, he is very worried about this situation in the schools and he has spoken in the government which said that trying to promote British values of tolerance which are becoming things that are intolerant towards the faith schools. They're using that standard as a stick against the faith schools, so you're tolerance for everyone else, but not for the faith schools. You're not tolerating other religions. That's what he said to them in a meeting. It was a big meeting, and that's what he said. Quite rightly so. He's trying to stand up. He's worried that the government is not promoting religion. They see religion as a problem rather than religion as a good thing. The Chief Rabbi told them: it's a problem. But who caused this problem? We caused it ourselves. I'll tell you how we caused it ourselves.

There is a building down the road, one mile outside Golders Green called JW3. This building is a Jewish organisation which was opened in October 2013. It finds itself London's flagship Jewish community centre serving all members of the Jewish community.

JW3 is the first Jewish Community Centre and arts venue of its kind to exist in London. The brainchild of Dame Vivien Duffield and created by a core capital grant from the Clore Duffield Foundation, the centre opened on the Finchley Road, NW3 in October 2013.

This year in March, they decided to have a programme for two weeks. They call that programme GayW3. The name of that building is JW3. They changed it to GayW3. They had a big banner outside stating "Celebrating the best of the gay culture from Monday 27 February to Sunday 12 March. Sunday 12 March was Purim. So the end of the two weeks culminated in Purim Day.

In their programme, they wrote: It has been 50 years since the Act decriminalised homosexuality and changed attitudes towards these identities in the UK and in the Jewish world and it culminated in the Purim Extravaganza which they called A Cabaret ... I don't want to speak about it, they called it the best Purim Party in town, that's what they called it.

What do you expect would be the reaction of the Jewish community to such a thing?

Would you expect some reaction?

Would you expect someone to speak about it, from the established Jewish community in England, in London?

Silence! All the communal bodies - no one had anything to say about it. Absolute silence, except for one individual. One individual spoke up. There was one person. In the middle of the night he came and wrote on the banner "Shame". No one knows who he is. He wrote "Shame." What was the reaction to that? The person is upset and feels it is a shame that a Jewish organisation should flort [sic] Jewish religion in such a way. It is a shame! You know how what happened?

 The organisers, they wrote to the papers. They wrote in the paper that he was saddened and disgusted by the incident, and they changed the word "shame" to "unashamed". They're not shamed. They did it themselves. The CEO of this organisation changed it himself. He took a paintbrush and he said "I took a paintbrush and led by example and wrote 'Unashamed' ". You would expect there to be a reaction from the established rabbinate. Yes, there is a reaction now. The Chief Rabbi writes ... You know what he writes? He has strongly condemned the homophobic vandalism of the banner and described it as "unacceptable and I have made clear previously homophobia is unacceptable so we must have zero tolerance. There is no excuse for vandalism. Conflict is divisive and destructive and nothing positive can come out of a public protest of disharmony."

 He's worried about what?

 He's worried about vandalism. That's what he's worried about. Is this person a vandal? Is this person trying to be homophobic? This person just said one word. It is a shame for a Jewish organisation to do this. He's not a vandal. By keeping quiet about the incidents about what is going on in this building, the Chief Rabbi has lent his passive support to JW3 and its activities. Let us read what is written about such a person and about this sort of thing. 

 "To lend active or passive support to institutions that officially encourage or condone homosexual activities is tantamount to a denial or defiance of the Word of God." Who wrote that? Rabbi Chaim Rapoport in the authentic view, endorsed by Lord Jonathan Sacks.

This institution is encouraging homosexual activity, that's for sure. It's not just condoning it, it's encouraging it. The Chief Rabbi has lent passive support to this institution. 

 Inside this building is a kosher restaurant called Zest which has a kashrut certificate from the SKA, the Spanish and Portuguese Beth Din. By giving a kashrut certificate to such an institution, they are actively lending active support to this institution - not passive support but active support, because the money from this restaurant, the profits from this restaurant goes to the institution and the activities of this institution. It's part and parcel of this institution. You can imagine how much this kashrut certificate is worth.

 So what happened next?

Local rabbonim when they sought, they were let down by the official established rabbinate. They decided to come together and write their own notice. 25 local rabbonim in North West London: Golders Green, Hendon and Edgware signed a public notice stating that this building of JW3 has certain programmes and activities which promote a way of life which is a total contradiction to Orthodox Judaism and halakha and accordingly members of our community should refrain from visiting this centre even for recreational purposes. That notice was publicised in the Orthodox Press [eg homodia.co.uk] was sent to all the shuls and all the schools There was a school, an Orthodox school locally, who had a plan before this notice was sent out to take their children to do ice skating in this building, but when the notice came out, they cancelled it. People are not aware of what's going on. 

 OK, so what happens next?

The CEO of the JW3 writes in the press "The rabbis who signed this notice represent just a very small specific bit of the Jewish community and the woman who founded an organisation called [Hebrew]. What is it called? Mothers and fathers: two mothers and two fathers [Hebrew], that's the group, the support group that meets at the JW3. Approximately once a month, they have activities. She said:

 "It means a great deal that we meet in the heart of the Jewish community and that our activities are part of the programme of a mainstream Jewish organisation, so now we understand: they are the mainstream Jewish organisation, and we are only a specific bit, and a very small negligible bit of Jewry - these 25 rabbis. They are the mainstream Jewish organisation. 

 So I want to put on record: this organisation, this building JW3, is not mainstream, it's Reform. It's Reform, and we are the mainstream Anglo-Jewry, we 25 rabbis behind several thousand households.

SKA give for this very time a kashrut certificate for a Reform organisation.

 Michael Goldstein

 There someone called Michael Goldstein - does anyone know him? Never heard of him? I also don't know him. I'll tell you about him. He's the new President of United Synagogue. United Synagogue embraces 25,000 plus households making British Jewry's largest organisation. He is now the lay head of that organisation since a few months ago. What was this Michael Goldstein's position ... communal position before he came the President of United Synagogue? You want to know? He was Chairman of JW3. Chairman! When they made all these activities in March, he was the Chairman, he was the boss .. of the JW3! This is not secret. I'm not telling you things which are hidden. He has given an open exclusive interview in the Jewish Chronicle a few days ago.

His mother, Ann, is on the board of one United Synagogue, Hampstead Garden Suburb, and one of their four daughters is on the board of another, Alei Tzion in Hendon.


I know he has stepped down from the position of Chairman, but out of his love for the JW3 he still retains his position as Vice Chairman. This is what he says in the interview:

 "The JW3 has proved an amazing institution and I am very proud of it. I think it has added great value to the community ... " To the Reform community, yes! When they asked him about being attacked by some right-wing rabbis, he says, "I don't understand why they choose to behave like this." Can you imagine? The President of the United Synagogue doesn't even understand why 25 rabbis should inform their constituents not to attend a Reform organisation. So there we have it: the President of United Synagogue is Reform. Not only is he Reform, he is Chief of the Reform! He is the President of the Reform! He is the Chairman of the Reform! 

 So now you have it.

 Why this complete silence by Chief Rabbi Mirvis and the dayanim of the United Synagogue? It explains everything. Let's go further. 

 Rabbi Dweck

 I have to bring up again, unfortunately - I don't want to do this - to bring up the question of Rabbi Dweck. 

 The Spanish and Portuguese want Reform

 A decision was passed by Chief Rabbi Mirvis and his panel that Rabbi Dweck can remain the Chief Rabbi of the Spanish and Portuguese. He sold United Synagogue to the Reform, he is now selling the Spanish and Portuguese to the Reform. I tell you what: I feel more compassion for him at this point because - I tell you why: He was in a very difficult position. He wants to make peace in the community, so what did he do? Very cleverly - what did  he do? He removed Rabbi Dweck as a dayan for the Spanish and Portuguese so that way when it comes to divorce etc, he's not involved. He removed him from the kashrut authority so that when it comes to the chickens, he's not involved. He removes him from speaking in America because the American rabbis were vociferously against Rabbi Dweck, so he solved that problem. But he retained him to be Senior Rabbi of the Spanish and Portuguese because that's what the community wants. When he was retained they made a standing ovation for him, because that's what they want: they want Reform, so the Chief Rabbi said "Let them have Reform. I'll give you Reform, that's what you want." The Spanish and Portuguese have always been partners with the Reform. It's not a new thing. Till today the cemeteries are jointly owned with the Reform. 

 Hoop Lane Cemetery: one side is Sephardi, the other side is Reform. 

 Edgwarebury Cemetery: one side is Sephardi, the other side is Reform - even closer to Reform because Hoop Lane there are two walls: one for the Sephardi, one for the Reform. In Edgwarebury, they share the same hall. One day there's a Reform burial in the same hall, the next day there's a Sephardi burial in the same hall. No problem! The Spanish and Portuguese have always been together with Reform. They don't seen a problem with it, basically. They are beloved of each other in life, and they don't separate even in death. So give them! If that's what they want, give it to them! 

 But, they said, he is not allowed to give any lectures of halakhic content without a review by someone on the panel. So what does that mean? Have you heard of a lecture that does not contain halakhic content?

 Basically, it means that every one of his lectures has to be reviewed first.

 So what does that mean?

 Is that a rabbi? A rabbi who has every one of his talks to be reviewed by someone else first? That's a rabbi? It means you can't trust that person. You can't trust him to say anything from his mouth. Basically, he is telling the whole world - the panel, the Chief Rabbi - he's telling the whole world that this rabbi ...  The Spanish and Portuguese want him, let them have him - he's not worth anything.

 A rabbi who requires that every one of his lectures prior to saying anything - it's a joke.

So that was his way of telling the community that no shul that feels any fibre of connection with [Hebrew] should ask this rabbi to speak in their shul.

In any case, any person who cannot be trusted even if what he says is 100 % kosher, we can't go to listen to that lecture.  

 If you cook kosher food in a treif pot, the food is treif.

 It's not just the word he says, it's what he puts inside it. He was very clever, so why are we speaking about him? Why did I keep quiet till now? I thought it was a clever diplomatic way of giving the Spanish and Portuguese what they want and keeping the rest of the community away from him. 

 But something has happened recently which has changed all this. It has been publicised that S&P in partnership with LSJS - it is the London School of Jewish Studies in Albert Road - present a new series of lectures in Hendon given by Rabbi Dweck on the Rambam starting in January. You see what's happening?

 He's trying to get in via the back door. No community have accepted him that want him to speak in their community in Hendon or Golders Green, but he is determined to get in somehow. It's not enough for him to speak to the Spanish and Portuguese, no! He wants to make his views known over here. He has to find some entrance. He can't see what's going on: no one wants you. Why are you forcing your way in? No, he has to. LSJS, where the President is the Chief Rabbi, he's the Vice President, so you can't tell him what to do, he has a place, he is a Vice President. So I say this to the Chief Rabbi:

 "You've sold the United Synagogue to Reform, you've sold the Spanish and Portuguese to Reform, but you can't sell North West London Jewry to Reform, because whatever that is concluded by this panel, whatever their motivation is, we are in no doubt as to the veracity of our own conclusions which are that there are grave allegations concerning Rabbi Dweck that he is not fit to serve as a rabbi at all and has leanings to Reform. It has been signed by five leading American Sephardi rabbis from New York and they don't want him back in America. It's been signed by the Chief Rabbi in Israel Rabbi David Yosefi's uncles etc. If this person is to give lectures in our area he will undo in a few short months what we have done in thirty years. It is very easy to break, it is very hard to build, so we have set up an organisation called Hasmonean and have been informed by the leading rabonim of this area to keep our fingers on the pulse and not allow the North West London Orthodox community to be fooled. There will be protests, there will be pamphlets distributed. We're not just going to sit down and allow the Chief Rabbi to bring in whoever he wants to speak in our area, in our kehillah kedoshah.

 How can the Chief Rabbi stand up and negotiate on our behalf with Ofsted when he hasn't negotiated with his own people, his own Jewry the same acts promoting these subjects. He doesn't say a thing, and he's going to tell Ofsted?

We have caused our own problems. The only tikkun is teshuvah, to stand up. 

 It's not up to the leaders. The leaders let us down. It's up to every single Jew, if there is one Jew with the flame of the Torah burning in his heart, he is able to do something, and revive the whole thing. And I say these words:

 Even if all the countries were bowed in obedience to Antiochus, if every man forsook the land of his fathers and assented to the king's command, even then I and my sons and brothers will not forsake the law of our fathers.

 For our community, we must not be fooled and not allow these things to happen. We have control of what's happening in our communities and we have to stand up and we have to make sure we are not naïve and are not fooled.

To the secular mind, however, all cultures that reject liberal assumptions are an equal threat to others. Recently Dame Louise Casey, who reported for the government on integration, told The Times she would scrap all faith schools that didn’t teach progressive values “around our laws on women, equalities, gay marriage — all of it.”

Yet her view of gender roles, sexual openness or gay rights is not fundamental to British or western values. It derives from secular ideology, which is now being enforced on Charedi schools.
These are not to be allowed to preserve the sexual innocence of their children. They are not to be allowed to practise their own precepts within their own unthreatening community. They are being forced to conform to secular zealotry.

The problem the government has in its sights is therefore not a threat to society. The problem it’s actually trying to eradicate is the existence of religious difference.

A policy ostensibly against intolerance is therefore itself profoundly intolerant.

The ultra-orthodox require just one thing of the state – that it leaves them alone. Now these British Jews are being forced to consider whether they actually have a future in the country which was once the crucible of liberalism, a principle it has so distressingly abandoned.

 When the hurly-burly's done, when the battle's fought and won, I would like the statue of Amy Winehouse removed and have it replaced with the 25 rabbis who were Kiddush Hashem and went by the book.

If these 25 Orthodox rabbis are Kiddish Hashem, then the others - who ignored their religious duty to remind each other of what the Torah actually says about sodomy attracting the death penalty and instead immediately kowtowed to the global gay marriage decrees of our latter day Antiochus - must be guilty of Chillul Hashem, the 21st century equivalent of worshipping the Golden Calf.

God gave Jews the role as His Chosen People, chosen to remind the gentile of the minimum moral standards of law that he must not fall below. Therefore only observant and principled Jews deserve this title. The others are only turbo-charged liberals with Jewish privileges they do not deserve because not only are they not shomer Shabbat Jews, they are also collectively guilty of Chillul Hashem because of their active and passive support of acts they have already been told are abominations to God.
