Covid, Torah, Establishments & Groupthink

"There are clearly two camps within the medical world there are many doctors, professors experts in in the field of epidemiology and the treatment of pandemics and severe illnesses.

The real difference between these experts is not their medical knowledge or it's not different schools of medical professional thought but rather underlying assumptions positions which were essentially philosophical and moral suppositions predilections.

There is a clear establishment position both in the medical world that you tend to hear mainly but you have to be a bit more persistent and make a little bit of an effort to hear the other position. The establishment position is masks, lockdowns and pro-vaccine. You hear much less of the other position because the media which is part of the overall establishment supports the medical establishment because in many ways they're on the same wavelength for various reasons which we won't go into now. In other words, there are there are different disagreements between medical doctors professors or epidemiologists, but the differences are almost without fail not of a of an epidemiological medical nature but of a a totally different sort based on one's value system what one considers to be important in human society, for example how how much weight you place on something like personal freedoms, liberty, authoritarian authoritarian powers being being appropriated by by governments without legal sanction and with you and to what extent you take into account all the multiple and varied ramifications of our particular policies.

Most people are are given to group think. When i say most people i mean rabbis, doctors, scientists and thinkers. The average person on the street, most people are given to group think.

You cannot have independent research and have an establishment because establishments have positions and they also have agendas and that immediately impacts on honest research.

Most rabbis think in a certain way not because they researched and delved into things very deeply and honestly but because that is the accepted position. Doctors are no different. Scientists are not different. They should be but they're not. It's a it's part of human nature. It's a human failing to wish to be in step with most other people and to be accepted. These things often have a direct impact on a person's income and social standing."
