The best way of removing all doubt that Anglicanism has failed in its own birthplace is to contact all confirmed Anglicans and ask them if they really believe that Jesus is the co-equal of the God of Israel who is also Allah ie the supreme and eternal Abrahamic God who created the Universe.
Then we can ask the Archbishop of Canterbury how Christianity is not idolatry and blasphemy. If his response is that Christianity is not idolatry and blasphemy if Jesus is God, then our next question must be how is Jesus God?

If Justin Welby resigns, Charles III would take his place as Head of the Church of England and also be expected to answer these questions.
If he refuses and also resigns as the Head of the Church of England, British republicans can then declare the divine right of kings and the age of monarchy to be well and truly over.
