MEASURING WISDOM
Wisdom is the ability to predict the future, solve/avoid problems, form sound conclusions from the minimum of facts. Wisdom is always good, never evil, or else the ability to do any of the above would be used towards evil ends.
If we can tell the difference between a foolish and wise person, why not the difference between a wise and a wiser person?
The difference between being wise and being cunning therefore rests on the character of the person whose wisdom is in question.
If someone is known to be a liar, then his dishonesty means he will be cunning rather than wise.
Often people dissociate themselves from their lies by claiming they were only joking or by being deliberately ambiguous. Ambiguity is of course the stratagem of the weaker female who is always saying "maybe", to keep her options open.
If a person is being deliberately ambiguous over something that is obvious eg whether Christianity is kaput, you can be sure that he is being avoidant of the need to replace it with Islam. If that person - known for his dishonesty, irrationality, confusion and inability to maintain a consistent position on anything as well as his ignorance and arrogance - claims that his society does not need a religion, then we know he is being avoidant about the necessity for a religion that maintains minimum standards of sexual morality ie a religion that supports marriage and family values.
If that person is known to boast about having indulged in extramarital sex, has already had a failed marriage and is currently boasting about the women he is currently bedding, then you can be sure that he has no intention of making the sacrifices required to restore the patriarchy, even if he knows that the only way to restoring good and rational government is through restoring the patriarchy. This is because he believes that he will not benefit from the sacrifices he has to make through telling the truth about the matriarchy, risking social ostracisation and the withdrawal of sexual access from women who might otherwise fornicate with him.
Patriarchy is a society that prioritises the preferences of married fathers, matriarchy a society that prioritises the preferences of unmarried mothers indifferent to the parenting of their casually conceived and casually parented offspring.
The perfect patriarchy - 100% married parents
The perfect matriarchy - 100% unmarried parents
If that person is indifferent to the accurate use of words eg claiming to be Christian while rejecting the Trinity or claiming that his cobbled-together beliefs are in fact a religion even after it has been pointed out to him repeatedly that his ideas for living can only become a religion if at least a group follow his set of beliefs and he is at least a cult leader, then his intellect and honesty cannot be trusted or relied on.
It can be said therefore that such a person is unwise, if not actually foolish, and nothing he says - which changes according to his moods and emotions - can be trusted, even if he occasionally gets things right, the way a broken clock is correct twice a day.
