There is a verse the Koran that warns people not to forbid what God has allowed nor allow what God has forbidden. Slavery is not forbidden in either the Bible or Koran.

Claire - wow, you're making fun of my processing the life and passing of my dead aunt who had Huntington's disease? And No, I did not say I agreed with Shari. In fact i said I initially 'revolted against it' but that as I wrestled with it more I felt there was some wisdom there. Finding wisdom in something does not mean I agree with something.
