I'm a US citizen and I was denied "entry clearance" into the UK back in 2021 for a postdoc job in "Smart Manufacturing and AI". They claimed that my "presence in the UK is non-conducive to the public good" because of an "extremist view". I'm still trying to make sense of things. pic.twitter.com/oqIiZkvd2a

When the government says no and you say yes, who is the extremist?

Isn't yes the other extreme of no and vice versa? Isn't it always the government who determines who is the extremist? Does the government claim it is always right?

@JonHolb, does the Doctrine of Parliamentary Supremacy in effect mean that the government is always right? Or, even if it is not, does it mean that it can always change the rules to make sure that even if it is wrong, it wins, and that even if you are right, you lose?
Is the Doctrine of Parliamentary Supremacy the principle of a woman who has no principles? Isn't it in effect the policy of an undecided woman who will never make up her mind about anything? There are better political systems around such as theocracy. Who dares discuss this?

Let's say the government says X and you -X. You apply for judicial review and lose. Then the government changes its mind and says -X and you say X, and the position is transposed. The citizen still loses. This is the reality of the Doctrine of Parliamentary Supremacy.
