The most powerful deity conceivable would be perfectly moral *and* omnibenevolent

Joshua 24:15

But if serving the LORD seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your ancestors served beyond the Euphrates, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you are living. But as for me and my household, we will serve the LORD.”

Worshiping the most powerful deity conceivable would make perfect sense, if you care about that sort of thing.

1 John 4:8 states: "Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love."

Micah 6:8 is a foundational biblical verse that summarizes God's requirements for humanity, stating: "He has shown you, O mortal, what is good.  And what does the LORD require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God."

The Quran does not explicitly state that "God is love" in the theological sense found in the Christian Bible (1 John 4:8). Instead, Islamic texts describe God's love as *conditional* and **reciprocal**, distinct from an unconditional, inherent nature.

*   *Divine Attributes**: The Quran identifies God as **Al-Wadud* (the All-Loving) and *Ar-Rahman* (the Most Merciful). While Al-Wadud appears in verses like 85:14, it signifies a loving disposition rather than an ontological identity of "God is love."

*   **Conditional Love**: God’s love (*hub*) is reserved for those who perform good deeds, are patient, repent, or trust in Him. Conversely, the Quran states God does not love oppressors, arrogant people, or evil-doers.

*   *Universal Mercy vs. Specific Love**: The Quran distinguishes between *rahma (compassion/mercy), which encompasses all creation unconditionally, and hub (love), which is a special divine favor granted to believers and those who obey God.

11:00  It is unrealistic to expect unconditional love.

16:00  To serve the God of the Amorites is to be an idolater.

19:00  To say that God is everywhere means you are a pantheist or panentheist which offends against the Third Principle of Judaism.
.
21:00  A God of Justice is superior to a God of Love.
